Japan and Islamic State – broken men, broken dreams

Another video appears showing the familiar black clad “lil Jinny” with two Japanese journalists in a stereotypical submissive kneeling position.

The two men are Haruna Yukawa (You Tube Channel , here) and his Private Military Company (here) and Kenji Goto Jogo. A ransom of one hundred million dollars each man is outlined in the video as are the reason for the demand.

“To the prime minister of Japan, although you are 8,500km from the Islamic State, you willingly have volunteered to take part in this crusade,”

“You have proudly donated $100m to kill our women and children, to destroy the homes of the Muslims.”

The two men were captured last year.

Yukawa was captured by Isis fighters on 17 August near the town of Dabiq, north-east Syria.(here) Yukawa is thought to have been fighting with a Syrian opposition group ‘Suquor al-Sham‘.

The Videos on Haruna’s channel show the two posing for pictures with caches of old rifles and some of the fighters, uploaded June 29th 2014.

Goto, a freelance journalist who runs a small media company, sourcing work from independent reporters, was seized in October, after travelling to the Isis stronghold of Raqqa.
